Azerbaijani leader congratulates personnel of Shusha #1 secondary school on 180th anniversary

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has congratulated the personnel of Shusha #1 secondary school on the 180th anniversary. The President praised the school`s contribution to developing Azerbaijan`s education system and cultural and enlightening history.

The President touched upon Armenia`s military aggression against Azerbaijan, noting: “all the economic and social infrastructure – in our occupied lands, including Shusha, our people`s source of pride, were destroyed”.

The President said the Shusha #1 secondary school was forced to take refuge in Baku since 1992. The Head of State said the school had been working tirelessly to preserve its pedagogical traditions.
