Azerbaijani pilgrims wounded in traffic accident in Turkey, return home

Six Azerbaijani pilgrims who were injured in a traffic accident in Turkey returned home. They were treated in the hospitals in the Sivas, Adana and Kayseri cities of Turkey.

Azerbaijani pilgrims Simuzer Akbarova, Malahat Asgarova, Arzu Ismayılova, Nazila Israfilova, Elnare Najafzade and Matlab Sariyev have arrived in Baku last night with a special flight, Head of the Caucasian Muslim Board's International Relations Division Mugaddas Payizov told Trend today.

The health states of pilgrims Samaya Davudova and Agasi Mirzayev are complex in comparison with other's, thus their treatment will be continued in Turkey.

The bodies of five pilgrims who died in the accident were delivered to Baku on Nov. 25. Their names were Samad Ahmadov (born 1982), Hajikhanim Alijanova (1944), Solmaz Bakhshaliyeva (1941), Zemfira Dadashova (1965), Maharram Kerimov (1938).

About 2,000 pilgrims from Azerbaijan committed the Hajj this year.
