Truck collides with Lada in Goychay region, leaving driver dead

Gazel truck driven by Balakan resident, 49-year-old Elshan Garajayev, collided with "VAZ-21011" driven by a resident of Garabaggal village of Goychay region, 26-year-old Elvin Yusifov.

Yusifov died at the site from his injuries. Other pssengers of his car were hospitalized with various bodily injuries.

Officers of the General Directorate of State Traffic Police conducted a scene examination. According to the preliminary version, the road accident was caused by high speed and night time.

A criminal case under has been filed over article 263.2 (violation of traffic rules resulting in death of a victim) of a Penal Code.
