Currency exchange office worker stabbed in Baku

Resident of Buzovna settlement of Baku Shahmardan Shukurlu caused slight stab wounds to the abdomen of the worker of the currency exchange office Shukur Shukurov, resident of Garachukhur settlement of Baku, in Nizami District of the capital.  

He then demanded money from the victim, but when faced with resistance, attempted to flee the scene. He was arrested while trying to escape by officers of the nearby Nizami District Police.

An investigation is underway.
