Fire in Azerbaijani Shahdag National Park

Reportedly, a fire occurred on the territory of the Shahdag National Park, the Azerbaijani Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry reported on Friday. The employees of the Ecology Ministry and Emergency Situations Ministry were able to extinguish the fire.

Bushes and dry leaves in an area of two hectares burned during the fire. According to the reports, the fire did not affect the trees.

"There were several fires near the Ismayilli region over the last month. The fires were probably a provocation," the ministry reported.
