"92% of schoolchildren wear uniforms of a new sample in Baku"

Preliminary results of the December 2010 monitoring of the capital's schools show 92% of schoolchildren war new uniforms. The monitoring held by the Baku General Directorate of Education lasted from mid to late November.

The monitoring aimed to identify the main problems related to school attendance, students’ purchase of new model school uniforms, school feeding, and to identify a long-term action plan to deal with them in 2011.

In mid-December, the Directorate of Education will meet to discuss the outcomes of monitoring into activities of the capital’s schools.
