Azerbaijan declares non-working days during Novruz Holiday

The Azerbaijani Cabinet of Ministers has declared March 20-24 this year as non-working days during the Novruz holiday. As March 20 falls on a Sunday, March 25 will be announced as a non-working day. Azerbaijani citizens will be able to rest eight days as March 26-27 fall on a weekend.

According to the Cabinet of Ministers, Azerbaijan will celebrate Ramadan on Aug. 30-31, 2011 and the Gurban holiday on Nov. 6-7. The holidays were coordinated with the Caucasus Muslims Office.
