Woman hangs herself in Sabirabad region

A 34-year-old woman has committed a suicide in Sabirabad region of Azerbaijan. Vafaya Guliyeva was found dead by her sister at morning time today the region prosecutor’s office said.

Vafaya Guliyeva hung up herself on a mulberry tree in the yard of her house. She got married 5-6 months ago, and after her husband went to work in Dagestan, the woman returned to her father’s house where she lived with her sister, mother and other relatives. The exact cause of suicide is still unknown.

A criminal case has been launched under the article 125 (driving to suicide). The family members do not exclude that a possible cause of suicide was woman’s psychological state.
