Baku to host international conference on cable television

The conference is organized by the Azerbaijani National Broadcasting Council and the Association of Cable Operators. State agency representatives, the heads of TV companies, cable TV structures and leading news agencies, and representatives of TV companies and cable TV associations in Russia, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Turkey and other countries have been invited to attend this event.

The conference will discuss issues related to the development of cable television in Azerbaijan and long-term development plans. A presentation will also be held on the newly created Azerbaijani Association of Cable Operators.

During the conference, the participants are expected to sign a memorandum of understanding to establish the Eurasian Telecommunications Association.
