Driver of bus, which carried Azerbaijani pilgrims, arrested

Asif Bagirov, the driver of the bus carrying hajis, was arrested over the bus crash in Sivas, APA reports quoting Dogan News Agency. Court passed a judgment to arrest Bagirov, who was slightly injured and treated in Sharkishla State Hospital. He was later taken to jail.

The bus carrying the Azerbaijani pilgrims crashed in Sivas, Turkey on November 23. Five were killed, and 29 got injured in the accident. The injured pilgrims (along with the bodies of the dead) were brought to Baku by special plane on the night of November 24-25.
