Azerbaijani Cabinet of Ministers approves search and rescue operations rules

The decision was made to execute Point 1.7 of Azerbaijani Presidential Decree ¹ 284 on the execution of the "Law On Aviation" dated Aug. 30, 2005.

The rules define the requirements for making aircraft search and rescue operations - on both local and foreign aircrafts - on Azerbaijani territory, as well as providing rescue services with special equipment and assisting victims.

These rules are applied to all users of Azerbaijan's airspace, the central and local executive authorities, local air transport organizations, airports and airfields.
