Tribute to famous Azeri filmmaker

The commemoration event to mark the 77th birthday of Rasim Ojagov, famous Azeri filmmaker, was held at the Azerbaijan State Film Fund. Head of the State Film Fund of Azerbaijan Jamil Guliyev, Director of Azerbaijanfilm Studio Khamis Muradov, film critic Aydin Kazimov, artist Rafig Ismaiylov and others shared their recollections about Rasim Ojagov.

The photo exhibition was organized as part of the event. Rasim Ojagov is one of Azerbaijan`s most recognized film directors. He was one of the most productive directors in the former Soviet Union and has directed many of the screenplays of Rustam Ibrahimbeyov, a well-known Azerbaijani playwright. He is the author of over 70 films; most of them are very popular to this day.
