Azerbaijan, Lebanon discuss educational cooperation

Azerbaijan's Education Minister Misir Mardanov met Friday Lebanese Minister of Youth and Sports Ali Hussein Abdullah to discuss educational cooperation between the two countries. Abdullah briefed Mardanov on the education system in his country. He underscored the necessity of conducting exchange of students between Lebanon and Azerbaijan.

Mardanov, in turn, spoke of the progress made in Azerbaijan in educational sphere. He noted thanks to President Ilham Aliyev`s care for education, more than 2,000 schools were built in the country.
