Baku to host conference on oil and culture

The conference will bring together SOCAR officials, philosophers, sociologists, architects and art critics as well as representatives of the Azerbaijan State Oil Academy, Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts, Russia's oil companies and members of the Russian Parliament.

The official opening of the conference will be held at the Baku Museum Center on November 23.

The conference is organized as part of a program of cooperation in the field of culture, implemented by the ministry of culture and tourism of Azerbaijan in conjunction with the ministry of culture of Russia for the period of 2009 and 2010.
