Book on social networks published in Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan has published a book on social networks, which is prepared by the Information Technologies Institute of the Azerbaijani National Academy of Sciences (ANAS).

"The book "Social Networks" analyzes relations between people by means of modern information communications," the Institute director, author Rasim Aliguliyev told Trend.

He noted that the earlier processes occurring in the society were studied only by the social sciences. "However, after the Internet, mobile phones and other means became available,  the opportunity of identifying, modeling, analyzing of social relations by means of modern information communications has also become available," Aliguliyev said.

At the same time, he noted that when analyzing the relationship between people the Institute hasn't violated the privacy of users of social networks.

The book also analyzed the development of social Internet resources.
