An Azerbaijani pilgrim died in Mecca, Caucasus Muslim Board (CMB) spokesperson Rahima Dadashova said on Tuesday.

75 year old resident of the Jalilabad region Duha Mammadova passed away.
Mammadova's health status deteriorated at the end of a Hajj ritual. She was taken to the hospital, but it was impossible to save her life.
As she became a haji, which is the honorary title given to believer who completed the Muslim pilgrimage, she will be buried in Mecca.
Earlier another Azerbaijani pilgrim Khanbala Atakishiyev died in the Syrian city of Sham. His body was brought to Baku on November 8 upon his family's request.
