Car hits pedestrian to death in southern Azerbaijan

A fatal pedestrian accident occurred at the 190-km section of the Alat-Astara highway in Liman town of southern Lankaran region on Sunday. Ford truck driven by Salyan region resident Faiq Qurbanov, 46, hit a man aged 25-30.

The pedestrian died at the spot. The victim has not been identified yet. The body has been sent for forensic examination.
