310 kg of expired food found in Azerbaijan's retail outlets

Azerbaijan’s State Service for Consumer Market Control under the Ministry of Economic Development has held a regular monitoring of food products sold in stores.

During the monitoring, 310 kg of expired food products including confectionery, sausages, oil, baby food, beers, milk and dairy products, soft drinks, and other products were found in several stores in Baku. The expired products were withdrawn from sale and destroyed. For wrongdoing, several individuals will be administratively disciplined.
