Places of bus routes and bridges to be determined via computer in Baku

According to Sadraddin Mammadov, the Head of the Azerbaijan Transport Ministry’s Department of Transport Policy & Economy, creation of a digital map of whole Absheron peninsula is planned within the frame work of this plan.

Regulation and optimalizing of traffic in Baku will be conducted systematically via the map and new programs applied in utilization of it.

The second chance to be created by digital plan is selection of tunnels and bridges via the computer program. According to Mammadov, this program will follow the passengers and traffic in the city and will forecast on this. He also noted that this program has prepared models of tunnels and bridges.
