Environmental boards are being damaged on purpose in Azerbaijani western region

A few months ago, a representative office in the western region of Azerbaijan National Committee of Helsinki Civil Assembly, established numerous enviromental protection boards, in the forests of Goygol region.

However, the boards are being broken down, or damaged on purpose by unknown persons. According to the representatives of the National Committee of Helsinki Civil Assembly, they have requested help from relevant district and law-enforcement bodies, but so far nothing has been done. It should be noted, that there were some 30 boards set up in the district.
