Fatal road accident near major shopping center in Baku

A fatal car accident occurred near Sadarak Shopping Center in Garadagh District of Baku on Wednesday. Elnur Ibragimov, 24, driver of VAZ car, a resident of Sumgait, lost control and crashed into KAMAZ truck on the roadside, owned by a Sabirabad resident Farasat Abbasov, 45.

As a result, Samir Ibrahimov, 27, one of the passengers of the VAZ car, died on the spot. The driver himself and another passenger Arif Niyazov, 22, were hospitalized with injuries. An investigation is underway.
