Prominent Azerbaijani poet's book published in Belgrade

The book comprised of “Colors” and “Color dreams”, poetic cycles of colors by Rasul Rza, People`s Poet of Azerbaijan, was published in Belgrade. The poems included in the book were translated into Serbian by Maya Tezich, into Russian by Boris Slutski, David Samoylov, Yunna Morits, Leon Toom, Alla Akhundova, Muza Pavlova, into English by Aynur Hajiyeva, into French by Hamlet Goja and Shamil Zaman.

The book also includes essays about Rasul Rza`s creativity by Nazim Hikmet, Dmitriy Shostakovich, Mammad Arif, Eduard Mezhelaytes, Canadian writer Dizon Carter, Swedish poet Yuri Kronbergs, English literary critic Bony Corey, Estonian poet Lyu Seppel and many others.

Anar, People`s Writer of Azerbaijan, wrote a foreword for the book. The publication was supported by the Embassy of Azerbaijan to Serbia.
