Azerbaijani population hits 9.077 mln

As of October 1, 2010, Azerbaijan's population increased 79.7 thousand or 0.9% to 9 077.1 thousand. State Statistical Committee says the 54.1% lives in the cities, 45.9% in the villages. Of this 49$ is men and 51% is women. 22% of them are at the ages of 0-14, 71% at 15-64, 7% at over 65.
