
17 people declared wanted by the Azerbaijani law-enforcement agencies were detained abroad and extradited to Azerbaijan in 2010, spokesperson for the Ministry of Internal Affairs Orkhan Mansurzadeh said.
He said 58 people declared wanted by the Azerbaijan’s law-enforcement organizations were identified in the past 9 months by the Azerbaijan National Central Bureau of Interpol. 17 of them were extradited or deported to Azerbaijan and relevant measures are taken toward 41 others.
Mansurzadeh said 26 people from other countries that Interpol issued warrants about their arrests were identified in Azerbaijan and five of them were extradited or deported to their countries and relevant measures taken toward 21 others.
