Counterfeit money gang exposed in Azerbaijan's southern region

Masalli region police rendered harmless counterfeit money gang, deputy chief of Masalli region police office Aliaga Kazimov said.
He said operation was carried out basing on the information that Masalli resident Anar Khazail Mammadov, 29, Salyan resident Parvana Noyabr Akbarova, 42, and others made counterfeit banknotes.

Reportedly, 100 AZN 100 banknotes, 1 AZN 50 banknote, 3 AZN 20 banknotes, 2 AZN 5 banknotes, totally 10 120 counterfeit banknotes, the equipment used for making counterfeit banknotes were confiscated.

Masalli region police office has launched criminal case on the fact, measures are being taken to detain other members of the gang.
