Blast in house in Azerbaijan's Shamakhi region, people injured

Reportedly, a blast occured in Azerbaijan's Shamakhi region. Chief of Shamakhi branch of North-West Regional State Fire Control Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Major Anvar Azayev said it happened in the house in Ali Mustafayev street, Shamakhy at 21.44 on October 6.

As the gas supply was cut off for debts in the house owned by Ibrahimov Miraga Aga, 53, a primitive gas line was built. Gas leak occurred in the house. The blast happened when the light was switched on. The ceiling of the house collapsed, Ibrahimov, his wife – Ibrahimova Bike Karim, 50, their son Bahruz Ibrahimov, 22, were admitted to hospital #5 in Baku. The investigation on the incident has been started.
