Carbon oil tanks derailed in Azerbaijan

Three carbon oil thanks derailed in Sumgayit city of Azerbaijan, according to the website of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. The accident took place last evening in Haji Zeynalabidin Tagiyev settlement of the city, in the crossroad of Baku-Guba highway and railway.

The freight train with three carbon oil thanks moving toward the Ethylene-Polyethylene plant in Sumgayit derailed not causing spill or fire.

Emergency forces immediately arrived at site and relevant organizations were informed about the accident. Necessary measures are taken for elimination of the accident results and firefighters are on the alert.
