Azerbaijani ministry calls for police "to take action"

The Azerbaijani Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources appealed to the Yasamal police department to assist in bringing individuals, destroying trees in Baku, to administrative responsibility, the ministry said.

Strangers cut three trees with a diameter 40 cm in 42 Avenue, administrative territory of Yasamal district. It was revealed during investigations conducted by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources. The relevant department of the ministry gave no guidance to cut down or transplant trees.
