Baku to host 10th International Education Fair

Azerbaijan's capital city will host Saturday the 10th International education fair organized by the Baku Education Information Center (BEIC).
The aim of the fair is to inform attendees on education abroad. According to the BEIC, the fair will bring together influential educational organizations in Azerbaijan.

The Baku Education Information Centre is an independent education and information centre created and supported in Azerbaijan by Open Society Institute (OSI - Azerbaijan), committed to provide information about international education opportunities.

On May 1, 1997 U.S. Embassy together with OSI established Baku Education Information Centre.

Since that time till April 2000 it was acting as a part of OSI. On April 1, 2000, BEIC became an independent non-government organization supported by OSI-Assistance Foundation and U.S. Department of State.
