Term 'plagiarism' eliminated from Azerbaijani law "Copyright and Related Rights"

The additions and changes to the law "Copyright and Related Rights" were approved at the meeting of the Azerbaijani parliament today.
In particular, the term "plagiarism" was eliminated from the law. Some MPs have opposed this change. But MP Valeh Askerov noted that the new change in the law protects copyright.

Today, the Parliament approved changes to the law "Arrival and departure and passports". The legislative base was created for people who have official passports. Azerbaijani MPs of the Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic were also included in this list.

Moreover, the Joint Declaration of the Azerbaijani and Belarusian Presidents, "Agreement between the Azerbaijani and Belarusian governments on the Promotion and Mutual Protection of Investments", "Joint Declaration of the Azerbaijani and Serbian Presidents", "Convention on the Avoidance of Double Taxation with respect to income and property taxes between the Azerbaijani and Serbian governments", "Agreement on trade and economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Serbia", "Agreement on abolishing visas for persons with diplomatic, service and official passports between Azerbaijan and Serbia", "Agreement on cooperation in combating crime between Azerbaijan and Serbia", "Agreement on cooperation in customs affairs", as well as changes in the laws "Audit Service" and "Notary".
