Baku to get over 3,000 new taxis soon

The first consignment of 12 London Taxi TX-4 vehicles have been supplied to Baku.
They will be used in the capital as a taxi, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Transport spokesman Namiq Hasanov said.

About 3,000 similar vehicles will be delivered soon. As a result, all taxis in Baku will be vehicles of the same brand.

Hasanov said that if the new cars fail to meet the demand in Baku, existing taxis that meet the requirements will be used as well.

New taxis will be delivered to country's regions, too, Hasanov added.
