The Azerbaijani General Prosecutor's Office and the Investigative Committee of the Prosecution Service of the Russian Federation have signed a Programme of Cooperation in Baku, the Prosecutor's Office said.

The document was undersigned by First Deputy Prosecutor General Rustam Usubov and Deputy Investigative Committee Chairman Yelena Leonenko.
The document envisages the agencies' cooperation on specific criminal cases and exchange of experience and information on law enforcement activities, including on trends in crime and protection of the rights of Azerbaijani and Russian citizens, as well as regular exchange of information on domestic legislation, lawmaking and enforcement activities.
In addition, the program provides consultations on establishing a working relation among the territorial prosecution authorities of Azerbaijan and the Investigative Committee that act in border areas between the countries.
