Azerbaijan puts 3 dry cargo ships on sale

The Azerbaijani State Property Committee put on sale three dry cargo ships "Sormovsky", the committee said.

The starting price of the vessel "Shair Vidadi" of 1976 is set at 107,143 manat, the ship "Khagani Rahimov" of 1978 - amounting to 96,143 manat, the ship "Rasul Rza" of 1972 - 113,683 manat in accordance with the standards of the committee to assess the value of the property.

When buying, roughly ten percent of the starting value of the ship must be paid in advance. The State Committee told Trend that this is the first auction for the sale of ships.

"Taking into account that this property is a mode of transportation, it is sold through a cash auction," the State Committee said.

The auctions on sale of vessels will be conducted at the centre for organizing auctions in the State Property Committee on October 26.

The auction commission must get a document identifying the customer and a document confirming the transfer payment to a bank account indicated by the Committee three days before the auction.
