U.S. Chargé d'Affaires in Azerbaijan made a visit to Ganja city on Tuesday.
Adam Sterling, Chargé d'Affaires of the U.S. Embassy in Azerbaijan, met with the Head of Ganja City Executive Power Eldar Azizov. According to the diplomat, he was given extensive information about the work undertaken in the city during his visit.

"I have been working in Azerbaijan for two months. As U.S. Chargé d'Affaires in Azerbaijan, for me the most important thing is to make an in-depth study of the country. So, I made a visit to the region. Firstly I visited Ganja. Besides, I decided to visit this city because my teacher of the Azerbaijani language in the U.S. is from Ganja," said Sterling.

Sterling visited the American Center based in the central library in Ganja and took questions from a group of young people. Discussions were held on scientific, technical, social and literary issues, as well as the matter of studying in the United States.

The American Center in Ganja was founded in 2007 with the support of the U.S. Embassy. Young people can learn about American literature, as well as participate in communication clubs.

Ganja is located in 365 km from Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. Sterling plans to visit the Barda region on Wednesday.
