Azerbaijan uncovers over 4,000 tax violations in July-August

The Azerbaijani Tax Ministry uncovered violations by over 3,900 taxpayers in July and August. Roughly 2,200 taxpayers violated cash payment procedures during the reporting period. Over 160 received foreign currency as payment. Roughly 1,060 taxpayers operated without being registered by the tax authorities, and 962 taxpayers worked without the required special licenses. Additionally, roughly 365 physical entities were involved in employment activities without contracts under the operational control of 237 taxpayers.
