Azerbaijan extends tender on television channel

The Azerbaijani National Radio and Television Council extended a tender today on opening a cultural television channel for an additional month. Earlier, AZTV asked the council to extend the deadline for applications, Nushiravan Maharramli, the council's chairman, told media. According to the council, the tender on opening the Culture channel in Baku and Absheron was held from Aug. 4 to Sept. 4.
