Economy Ministry: Rise in wheat price in world markets has no impact on Azerbaijan

Rise in wheat price in world markets did not cause rise in bread price in Azerbaijan, Head of Azerbaijan’s State Service for Consumer Market Control under the Ministry of Economic Development Zahid Isayev said.

The service conducted an analysis into impact of rise in prices on flour and bread in Azerbaijan and concluded that an increase in wheat prices in the world doesn’t have any impact on flour and bread prices in Azerbaijan, Isayev added.
