Azerbaijan State Oil Company opens summer school

Speaking to the ceremony, SOCAR vice-president on staff, regime and information technologies Khalik Mammadov gave full information on the history of Azerbaijan's oil industry, expressing the importance of the “Contract of the Century” which was signed in 1994.

Touching upon the projects implemented by the Company, the SOCAR official stressed President Ilham Aliyev has initiated project on Education Abroad, which is being implemented by the Company since 2005.

Correspondent member of the Academy of National Sciences of Azerbaijan Vagif Abbasov thanked the leadership of SOCAR for the attention to education.
