"Kazakhstan ready to meet Azerbaijan's need for grain"

Kazakhstan is ready to meet the need of Azerbaijan for grain, Kazakh ambassador to the country Serik Primbetov told journalists.

The diplomat noted his country was the main grain supplier in the post- Soviet territory.

According to the diplomat, all orders from Azerbaijan regarding grain are fulfilled.

He pointed out 15 million tons of crop is expected to be gathered in Kazakhstan, 6.8 million tons of which is planned to be exported.

“We're ready to sell grain to Azerbaijan, but we have to come to an agreement about the price”, Primbetov added.
