Azerbaijani consul in Germany: Public TV contributes to developing democracy and media in Azerbaijan

Public TV makes “great” contribution to developing democracy and media in Azerbaijan, said Otto Hauser, chairman of Germany-Azerbaijan Forum, Azerbaijan's honorary consul in Stuttgart, while meeting Ismayil Omarov, director general of Azerbaijan's Public TV and Radio Broadcasting Company.

“I visit your country frequently and I know very well that the Public TV is loved by the Azerbaijani people” Hauser said.

Omarov said the Public TV was accepted by the society as a “new, democratic and transparent institution”.

He stated that the Company enjoys “good” cooperation with all international organizations acting in Azerbaijan.

Omarov said as a member of the European Broadcasting Union, the Pubclic TV was cooperating with the world's leading TV broadcasters.
