A hand-over ceremony of the project on construction of medical point system in Girzan village of Azerbaijan's Tovuz region will be held on Aug. 25.

The event project has been implemented as part of the “Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Program”.
The grant contract of the project (total amount of $96. 963) was concluded between the Japanese Embassy and Azerbaijan Youth Union on February 25 this year. The purpose of the project is to improve primary healthcare system in Girzan and other neighboring villages of Tovuz region though construction and equipping a new medical point to serve the needs of 3,654 local people including refugees and IDPs.
As part of the project a new building with five rooms covering in total 150 square meters was built and equipped with new furniture such as beds, tables, chairs and medicine cabinets.
Japanese ambassador to Azerbaijan Masamitsu Oki will attend the event.
