The Heydar Aliyev Foundation has organized a psychosocial rehabilitation summer school for children with diabetes in Ganja.

The Foundation has organized this unique event for the second year.
The summer camp organized for 15 days in Ganja is open to 30 children suffering from diabetes, deprived of parental care, as well as from families of refugees and IDPs and families, in which the disease has affeced several people, the Foundation said.
The main purpose of the summer school is to educate young leaders capable of providing first medical and psychological care to sick children.
The program of the project, which began on Aug. 23, also includes useful recreation, including classes that promote psychosocial rehabilitation of children, development of self-confidence, self-protection and self-confidence in adolescents, and creating ways of expressing a tolerant attitude towards happenings in their personal lives and around them.
To this end, the working group, which includes endocrinologist, psychologist and other professionals, will hold continuous trainings and teach children to certain habits and skills.
During the holidays, children will become familiar with historical places of Ganja, participate in English-language classes, write essays on free theme and test their strength in competitions, intellectual games and sports.
