Baku hosts last seminar on bird flu prevention

The last seminar on prophylaxis of the bird flu co-organized by FAO and Azerbaijan's Ministry of Agriculture took place in Baku.
Heads of the veterinary services and national coordinators from FAO, Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Central Asia participate in the seminar.

Aim of the seminar is to solve problems of the bird flu and instruct the population and organizations engaged in poultry farming.

The seminar was focused on results of the monitoring, measures to combat with bird flu epidemic and cooperation with international structures.
