Azerbaijani serviceman drowned in Black Sea

An Azerbaijani drowned in the Black Sea, APA’s Georgia bureau reports. Rafig Orujov, who had worked as mechanical engineer at Marneuli military base, drowned while swimming in the sea.

He was reportedly sent to Kopitnari military unit in Kutaisi on August 8. Witnesses say on August 9 Rafig Orujov, 32, together with his friends went to swim in the Black Sea. He hitched on the armature and drowned. Criminal case has been launched on the fact. Investigation is underway. Orujov’s body was brought to Marneuli in the afternoon, he will be buried tomorrow.
