Newborn girl found at the cemetery in Azerbaijani region

A newborn child was found in Masalli region of Azerbaijan, head physician of Masalli Regional Emergency Medical Aid Station Firudin Gambarov told APA. According to him, the station received a phone call saying that a newborn child was abandoned in the cemetery in Sherefe village. An ambulance was sent to the site. Doctors found a newborn girl inside a two-meter well in the cemetery.

The child was taken to the resuscitation department of Masalli Central Hospital. As a result of the doctors’ efforts, the state of her health became stable. Masalli police office has started investigation to find the child’s parents.
