"Palmali" names its new tanker in honor of Azerbaijani national hero Mubariz Ibrahimov

Palmali Group of Companies named its new tanker of Armada type in honor of National Hero of Azerbaijan Mubariz Ibrahimov, the Company reported on August 4. According to the information, the new tanker will be launched on 15 October from the Turkish Besiktas Shipyard.

Azerbaijani Armed Forces ensign Mubariz Ibrahimov showed heroism in an armed incident at the contact line between Armenian and Azerbaijani troops on June 18, singlehandedly killing 4 and wounding 4 more Armenian servicemen. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree to confer posthumous title of "National Hero" upon Ibrahimov on July 22.
