Azerenergy improves quality of power supply

Azerenergy (production and distribution of electricity across Azerbaijan) works to stabilize and improve the quality of power supply of Baku and the surrounding districts, the company reported.

The company carries out work on the Mushfig substation for this end. The company will install two transformers with capacity of 250 megawatts each at the substation and the third 200-megawatt transformer soon. The company intends to install another 200-megawatt autotransformer at the Hovsan substation.

Azerenergy also caries out large-scale work on the technical renovation of the Gala substation.

The company will replace a 40-megawatt transformer with 75/63-megawatt one. The company also completed the necessary work at the substations Dubendi, Zig and Surakhani. The company replaced a 30-megawatt substation transformer by the 63-megawatt in the Ramani substation and installed the third 250-megawatts transformer in the Khirdalan substation.
