Number of cars in Azerbaijan will soon reach a million

Over 965,000 vehicles have been registered in Azerbaijan at present, Azerbaijan Central Traffic Police Department Spokesperson Kamran Aliyev said.
A total of 828,000 cars are owned by physical persons and 110,000 by legal entities, he said.

There were 928,000 cars in Azerbaijan in 2009.

Meanwhile, currently there are nearly 562,000 vehicles in Baku; 493,000 vehicles are owned by physical persons and 69,000 by legal entities.
