Azerbaijani president participated in opening of an ice-cream factory in Lenkaran

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev familiarized with the company. Information was provided that the construction of a factory producing ice cream LLC "Palfood" began in 2008. Ice cream brand "Paldad" was produced in late 2009. Total area of the factory is 20,000 square meters. About 120 people will work here. About 28 varieties of ice cream "Turk usulu", "Palegriya", "Buz qelem" and others are produced here using high-quality milk.

Ice cream is made at the highest level as a part of an international system of food safety management İSO-22000 from the processing of raw materials to packaging. Power production of the plant is 500,000 liters of ice cream a month. President Ilham Aliyev has started production at the factory.

Information was provided that the finished products are delivered to the cold stores at 30 degrees Celsius. About 250 tons of packed ice cream are stored at refrigeration warehouses. Investments in the workshop for ice cream production amounted to 15 million manat.

The factory, built on the latest technologies, got equipment imported from Denmark. Pack is Turkish. At present, talks on the export of ice cream "Paldad" to Turkey, Georgia, Uzbekistan and other countries are held.
