Azerbaijani experts attend World Ophthalmology Congress

The congress brought together more than 12,000 ophthalmologists from 140 countries from around the world. On the sidelines of the congress, an exhibition of pharmaceutical companies and medical equipment manufacturers was arranged.

Since its inception in 1857, the World Ophthalmology Congress is convened every second year to bring the world's ophthalmologists together to meet, learn, and advance the science and progress of ophthalmology.

The ICO is the Congress sponsor and works with the Host to develop the scientific program and and organize the meeting.
